To be or not to be

We are free.
You and me.
I love me.
Thou lovest thee.
You don't agree?
Then leave me be.

I love thee.
Thou lovest me.
But leave me free.
I'm not all thee.
I want to be
Like I love me.

I hope you see
We need to be,
Both, you and me,
Free, really.

What could you see
In me but me?
Must I agree
To be like thee?

Maybe honey

Eventually
I'll try to be
Like you want me.

Who would I be?
You would love who?
Would you love me?
Or you, times two?
